St Andrew’s social committee is taking bookings for a trip to the Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum in North Yorkshire on Saturday, April 18.

The Camp, near Malton, occupies the site of a Second World War prisoner-of-war camp, comprising 33 huts which have been converted into a war museum.

The trip will cost about £14. Anyone interested should contact Ada on 07854703426 or 01706 536143.

Ada is also the contact for tickets for the St George’s Night event in Church on Saturday, April 25, featuring Littleborough Brass Band. Tickets, including potato pie supper, cost £8. A pay bar will be available,

March 29, Palm Sunday, 9.30am, Procession with palms and Sung Eucharist; 11.30am, Holy Baptism; 6.30pm, Palm Sunday Worship at St Mary’s RC, Littleborough.

Monday, March 30, 7.30pm,Stations of the Cross.

Tuesday, March 31, 9am to 3pm, Experience Easter (see above).

Wednesday, April 1, 9am to 3pm, Experience Easter.

Maundy Thursday, 9.30am Eucharist; 8pm, Last Supper with (optional) washing of feet; 10pm, Gethsemane Watch until midnight.

Good Friday, 11am, Liturgy of the Cross; Noon until 3pm, music and reflection.

Holy Saturday, 9am, Morning Prayer; 8.30pm, Easter Vigil.

Easter Day, 9.30am, Sung Eucharist.
