Date published: 23/11/2005
Twenty five Year Six children were lucky enough to attend a special press preview last week of the latest Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
As a part of the RYG (Reach Your Goal) Project, the St Edwards CE Primary School children were invited to the Odeon, Manchester (formally Filmworks, Manchester) to review the film for the movie section of the RYG website.
John Shepperd from RYG said, “RYG, which is already working in 5 Rochdale High Schools, is working with St Edwards to develop the Primary strand of RYG called RYG Little Dudes. The Odeon in Manchester is one of our leading Community Partners and they support much of the work that our young people are involved in. It’s fantastic for the children to be asked to attend a really special event like this.”
Sam Hassall said, “This film was way more exciting than all 3 films put together. I thought it was great”
Hollie Colleano said, “The film is defiantly the best so far. I think it could get an award, it’s so great!”
Their reviews, along with more information about RYG, can be seen at www.reachyourgoal.co.uk
