Police appeal for help to trace man in connection with Freehold rape

Detectives in Rochdale are asking for the public's help to trace a man who is wanted in connection with a rape.

Police would like to speak to Paulo Zanda, DOB 22/06/1951, an Angolan national, about the rape of a woman in the Freehold area of Rochdale on Monday 7 February 2005.

It is believed Zanda may now be staying in the London area and officers are appealing for anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts to get in touch.

Zanda is not considered a danger to the public. However, people are asked not to approach him but contact officers at Rochdale CID on 0161 856 8437.
