Rochdale Online Awards Evening - money raised for Springhill Hospice

At the inaugural Rochdale Online Awards event at Rochdale Town Hall on Friday 10 March a raffle with fabulous prizes donated by local businesses, Butterworth Jewellers, Moss Lodge Hotel, PNS Landscapes and Gymophobics raised £1200. The money was donated to Springhill Hospice.

Commenting on behalf of Springhill Hospice, Fundraising Manager Ian Jenkins said:

"On behalf of everybody here at Springhill Hospice - our staff and volunteers, and of course our patients and their families - I would like to thank Malcolm, Pauline and all the team at Rochdale Online for the wonderful donation of £1200 raised at their recent Rochdale Online Awards Evening.

"I know that Rochdale Online was founded with the intention of providing a service to the community; by giving gifts such as this to the town's charities, it is confirming everything that it stands by. It is a tremendous gesture of support and I hope most sincerely that the association between Springhill Hospice and Rochdale Online continues to develop as fruitfully as it has over the last few years. Thank you so much."
