Am going to Manchester today with an Officer to express deep dissatisfaction on the decision  re Closure of our excellent maternity services in Rochdale.  Frankly I cannot believe that this decision will be an advantage to the mothers of Rochdale and all those outside such as Littleborough Whitworth and beyond.  Bury stands to lose Services as well which will be detrimental to people in Norden Bamford and Birtle and all on the Fairfield side of Rochdale.
