If I could have been there I would but due to unforeseen happenings at home I could not make it. I recieved a phone call from an ex-worker from the water-board who said he would like to thank Rochdale Council on bringing Queens Park and it's fountain back to what it was is and should be right for the people of Heywood and it's surrounding area's. Let us hope that politics do not try to capture this great venture because there has been in my opinion no politicians using this in there election addressess.
