Vandals

Vandals have smashed up a telephone box on Manchester Rd. Hopwood. Nothing new there I hear you say. However, at the side of the box was a garden ornament presumably taken from some ones garden to use for the purpose. So not one crime but three , trespass, theft, criminal damage, and the ornament used was one of the three monkeys ( see no evil) I am sure the irony was lost on the perpetrators. But why do they do it? If we sent them to Dartmoor to break rocks we would never hear an end to their moaning, yet they will cheerfully spend ages smashing up telephone boxes or bus shelters for what?
Sorry for the whinge on such a lovely day Happy Easter everyone.
