It’s almost the end of the election campaign and looking forward to tomorrow.
It has been a very positive campaign and as always I have enjoyed meeting many people and listening to their concerns.
The major worries for many are the fortnightly collections of household waste and the home care service. We must act on these matters in a positive and responsible manner.
On the fortnightly bin service I raised concerns of Pennine Residents at Council sadly the Portfolio Holder was un willing to listen. That does not show firm Leadership, it shows uncertainty. We must NEVER as Politicians confuse firm and clear Leadership with arrogance.
Be assured we Conservatives will continue to respond to local concerns.
Understandably, many people this time want to vote against this Labour Government. Don’t be fooled by voting Lib Dem. The only real alternative is the Conservative Party. Remember Ming Campbell who made it quite clear that the Lib Dems would prop up and work with only a Labour Government after the next General Election!
