Good New Liberal Democrat Councillors

It does you good to see our new Liberal Democrat Councillors using the free, unedited, facility of Councillor Diaries provided by Rochdale Online to express their positive aims for the good of the Borough. Yes, Doreen, Heywood included.
We Liberal Democrats are committed to Devolving as much as possible to local people via the Townships. I believe that when people see that they can make a difference locally, and have some discretion to do as suits the local area and people, they will reconnect with politics.
I urge you to read Greg Couzens’s excellent first diary where he re affirms what many of us who have chosen to live in Rochdale feel about the Town and Borough. Greg speaks of the many positives that make Rochdale a good place to live, how things can and have been improved by local people, and what a good deal of improvements have been set in train to be delivered in the next year or two.
Greg will of course be continuing to improve the hairstyles of the population at his Salon in The Walk, I can recommend a visit there too.
