Good news for Wardle High School

I was delighted to hear that Wardle High is out of special measures and is once again well on its way to the excellence for which it is renowned.
Its also excellent news that Wardle will retain its sixth form, it is right that young people should have a choice of sixth form provision and that there should be a 6th form in the Wardle/Littleborough area.
The 6th form at Wardle is an excellent facility that I along with the late Bill Anderson Headmaster fought hard to provide against much opposition from Lib Dem Councillors at the time.
I now look forward to working hard with the School to promote and encourage our young people to attend.
Congratulations to Mr Wright Head teacher all the Staff and Governors for so brilliantly improving the School, which is once again, well on its way to the excellence for which it is renowned.
