I have just read with interest Father Paul Daly,s views on local Mayors and civic prideI would like to invite him to attend the next full council and see the total lack of sartorial elegance displayed by many councillors including so called senior members of council who clearly have no idea of the correct dress for the occassion. I can assure Father Daly however, that all Heywoods councillors take the time and trouble to dress with pride and respect for the dignity of the full council.
