Anyone got any good news?

This really has been one awful week.
It began when I heard the news of a friend of mine whose partner had recently been suffering from a bad back. I basically dismissed this as bad backs happen to us all every now and again. Now how dreadful I feel as I have been told he has been diagnosed with cancer of the spine.
Yesterday one of my dearest pals telephoned to say their forty five year old son had suddenly died of a heart attack. Later on in the evening Sarah sent me a text message to say someone we know well who had been suffering from depression had also died.
It all reminds me of the last words my father spoke as he left the house early in the morning I asked him where he would be that night. His reply was 'I don't know where I will be tonight !! Too true, he was dead by tea time.
All this makes me realise how important it is to value my girls and Alan, my friends and people around me and live every day to the full, no matter who or which party is running the country.
