A week last Friday saw us attending the Recent Injury Clinic. The swelling around Alan's knee had dramatically gone down. Following examination the doctor made an appointment for the following Monday to see the consultant.

The consultant gave him three options; leave the knee alone and do nothing, come back tomorrow for the operation or go onto the waiting list.

Neither Alan or I could believe this! As Alan had a 'big do' organised for Wednesday he asked if he could possibly be seen on Thursday. This was agreed and here he is back home well on the way to recovery having been attended to by the District Nurse earlier today.

All done and dusted within a week.

Who says that the NHS gives poor service? Amazing and absolutely terrific.

Thank you.
