Welcome to Castleton

I had the pleasure this week of visiting Rochdale Online’s brand new offices and I cannot comment highly enough on what they have managed to achieve. They really have transformed the old Nat West bank building into something Castleton can be proud of.

Pauline was kind enough and patient enough to give me the full tour. The décor was nicely done and I can imagine it to be a great working environment. I was particulay impressed by the view on the third floor even though it was slightly foggy on my visit. The highlight of the tour had to be Malcolm’s new photographic studio. He seems to have all the equipment you could possibly need.

This week it is regrettably anticipated that more staff at Woolworths in Castleton will be made redundant. How great it is to see a thriving business coming to Castleton and providing local jobs during these harsh economic times.

Keep up the good work Rochdale Online. I am sure you will become an integral part of Castleton over the next few years.
