D Day for Springfield Park

Many Rochdale Online readers will know of plans to build a golf driving range on Springfield Park.
The opposition to this removal of 12 acres (out of 36 acres) of the park is considerable, but this has not stopped the Council continuing with their proposals.
The chance for residents to set the agenda is the Vision Day this Saturday 18th April, 10 am - 2 pm, Matthew Moss School, off Bolton Road.
The consultation continues to the end of April. There is a questionnaire that needs to be filled in. Otherwise residents' views will not be taken into account.
