Be angry but don’t be irrational!

I share peoples’ anger and frustration about the misuse of MP’s expenses, the fear and anxiety about the future of the economy and the desire for political change. But I worry when I hear suggestions that this is driving people to vote in large numbers for parties like the BNP. I worry that this anger is now turning into a sort of hysteria and angry mob atmosphere that makes people irrational and stops them from using their vote properly.
I come from a country where anxiety, frustration and fear were used by a radical right wing party promoting ‘German living space for Germans’ to push its people into the political abyss and large scale genocide. Volumes of history books have been written since wondering how it could have happened and one of the strongest messages have been: Beware of Beginnings!
I worry at suggestions that the BNP is just a friendly fringe party that allows people to use their vote as a protest and bring about some democratic change. I urge people to look closely at what the BNP really stands for and what the real intentions of the BNP are.
A vote for the BNP is a vote for the destruction of our tolerant multicultural society. It is the opposite of a vote for British tradition and British values. Liberty, democracy and tolerance to all the different cultures, creeds and peoples are what Britain has stood for, and been admired for by other countries throughout its history.
Don’t vote in anger now and repent for the next five years.
