Cannabis farm raided in Rochdale

Every time I read this kind of news brings me comfort I just applaud the ongoing work our Police force do in bringing these greedy people to justice.
They prey on the most vulnerable already struggling with an addiction and just don’t care were the money comes from to pay for it they live a life of luxury and could not care less about the damage they cause in a person or their families lives.
I know the pain these greedy people cause; I lost a wonderful son to drugs 18 years ago
He started with the odd cannabis thinking it was ok, but the buzz wore off so he tried heroin and got well and truly hooked on it, he went on a rehabilitation course which in those days sadly the family were not welcome even though we were very close I could not attend any therapy or meetings. They thought they knew best for my son!
He hated his life and so wanted not to rely on Methadone he just wanted his life back but sadly the first impact of taking Cannabis made his life reliable to needing more buzz and stronger drugs ,He felt he no longer had any control of his own life. And he committed suicide in his letter he wrote with deep sadness and regret “ I love you Mum I love you so much sorry but I could not cope anymore”
Wayne was 24 years old, a young life lost and destroyed by drugs.
