Hard Hit !

I have just returned from 2 weeks holiday in Gran Canaries and have had a lovely time with my husband and grandson, the only downside was to see how hard the recession has hit such a beautiful place, the difference from last year was seeing a whole shopping complex virtually closed down and the existing ones fighting for custom.
On my return home and catching up on the local news I was pleased to read some good news story’s happening in Rochdale sadly I missed the Feel Good Event but the feed back on it has been brilliant well done to all concerned, our leisure centre one step closer and our sixth form college near completion, J.J.B. opening on Kingsway. All good news stories which goes to show the Lib – Con coalition in Rochdale is working well together for the benefit of everyone in our wonderful Borough.
Then I read the MP Simon Danczuk’s comments which were all doom and gloom not a good word to say about anything only to yet again call and blame the Lib –Dems which is now getting quite boring, I am sure he realises that the recession is a national problem caused by the past Labour Government wasting and spending our money and causing all this misery both locally and abroad.
Lets not forget when Labour was ousted out the letter they left stated “sorry no money in the pot” were did it all go?
It is the Lib - Con coalition who are prepared to work together both nationally and locally to sort out the mess the last government left the nation in.
I dread to think that they would ever be in charge of our lives and finances again.
