To harsh and far to severe

I fully support the campaign to “call on this government to give back Rochdale its fair share” In fact I support every Council as it is most unfair that we should have to make the people suffer such drastic and severe cuts through the last governments disgraceful waste of public money.

The cuts being forced on councils will cause chaos and misery for so many our young our elderly and our most vulnerable will suffer with services being removed or cut.

The future is so grim for many facing forced redundancies and job losses Our Police Forces and Fire services can’t possibly function at a safe level with these drastic cutbacks neither can we if we want to feel safe in our areas.

This government needs to stop targeting Local Councils to put right this financial disaster as it is vital services that are being destroyed nationally in every town & city many years of hard work building and working together with our Voluntary sector and many more Charitable organisations are being ripped apart in all of our local communities
The heart of every town especially ours in the Rochdale Borough are being broken and torn apart by these very unfair and ridiculous targets which are going to have a disastrous long term effect for everyone.

These cuts are sending our nation backwards causing hardship and misery, for many telling them it will be better in 5 years time will be too late!

It is time to reduce funding to other countries for what-ever reasons and  scrap the billions spending on Trident this government needs to concentrate on putting Britain and its people first and put a stop to local councils having to make these huge cutbacks to very valuable front line services for the mistakes made by others!
For once let’s be a bit selfish and put some very famous words in place
