The dust has now almost settled following the recent Local Eelection with a very positive result for myself and my group.
This years run up to the election was really rewarding. So many peolpe were supportive in their comments whilst I was out canvassing. Thankfully this was reflected in the final result with my huge majority.
THANK YOU to all those who gave me the support and have trusted me to represent them once again as their local spokesperson.
THANK YOU to the many 'volunteers' who helped in various ways to bring about such a great result.
THANK YOU to the many 'youngsters' who have come aboard during my campaign and are making such a worthwhile contribution to the group.
It's now time to forget the 'rivallry' of the elections and to settle down and work towards regaining the pride and prosperity we once knew in our area.
