There is much still to achieve. Our area is seeing a much needed facelift. Examples include projects already started on Tweedale Street, Manchester Road, Milkstone Road and many other areas. We have the new health centre taking shape and a key opportunity with the Metrolink set to benefit our area. I am committed to ensuring that our area benefits as much as possible from the redevelopment of our Town Centre. My priorities include continuing to fight against drugs and prostitution, to get a new bus service in our area and to continue to fight to get much needed youth facilities for our area. I am aware that our area is rich in diversity and my aim is to continue to fight for all the communities that make up Milkstone and Deeplish.

By voting Liberal Democrat on 1 May – you are voting for someone who works all year round. My office is available full time for any Constituents to come and see me with their problems. By voting for me on 1 May you are voting for someone to continue the progress they have made. As I’ve made progress on a number of issues but there remains much more today. This includes cleaning our streets and gullies – that is why I am pleased to see our Council invest in the machinery to do this. Our commitment to gully cleaning is also welcome and should help in the fight flooding.

Another priority is the fight against crime, prostitution and anti-social behaviour. The Lib Dems are putting more police on our streets. We are also investing in crime prevention and are putting money into making our young people pay for making our lives a misery. That said, we are recognising and investing in our young people by putting money into our youth service.
