Having lived and worked in Rochdale all my life I know the worries and concerns of local residents.

The priorities of residents are my priorities and if re-elected to represent Littleborough, Wardle and Shore I promise that I will be there to support residents, ensuring they have a voice in Rochdale as their Conservative Councillor.

Residents want safe clean streets free from litter and pavements and highways free from pot holes.

They also have concerns about developments on green fields, losing vital countryside and creating congestion, while wanting a low Council Tax and value for money from our council, something the local Conservatives are keen to see.

I also believe that more money should be spent across Rochdale on improvements to roads and footpaths, something which has been agreed on, with an extra £1m to be made available for such projects.

Nationally the Conservatives are getting on with delivering our Manifesto commitments.

At the election, we made clear commitments to the British public – and we have an important responsibility to deliver on them.

We’ve made real progress on reducing our deficit, safeguarding our economy for the long-term and helping to keep mortgage rates low.

We’ve also cut income tax for over 27 million people, creating more jobs, with employment up by over 2 billion since the 2010 General Election, while also backing small businesses, helping to drive growth.

If re-elected, I assure you of my continued commitment to ensure our area is not neglected and receives its fair share of Council funds. I have been honoured to be your local Councillor, to listen to your views and act upon your concerns, I would be happy to continue working for you.
