It is an honour to stand for the Conservative party in Milnrow & Newhey.
Here we have been let down successively by the Liberal Democrats with at least two of the most influential Local Councillors representing this Ward what have we actually received?, a second rate Customer Service provision, no regeneration as in other areas.
All we have is a couple of very nicely manicured roundabouts which were a side effect of the new Kingsway Business Park which is not doing as well as had been predicted. My main agenda will be to see Milnrow & Newhey put back on the map.
I am fed up of Milnrow & Newhey being treated as the “poor relation” and seeing investment going to other areas. I don’t begrudge these areas this investment but when is it going to be the turn of Milnrow & Newhey?
