Voters face a simple choice in the election in Kingsway on 1 May.

Do you want more of the same – or a big change?

Kingsway has three Liberal Democrat Councillors who couldn’t care less about Kingsway.

Litter is everywhere. Fly tipping is rampant. Vandalism is rife. Street crime is out of control.

We never see our Liberal Democrat Councillors from one election to the next. They never hold advice surgeries. They can’t be bothered to keep in touch. But they are first in the queue to claim more than £22,000 of our money in pay and perks every year.

If you want a big change for the better in Kingsway – please vote for me.

I will:

  • Tackle anti-social behaviour with more police patrols
  • Fight to reinstate our weekly bin collections
  • Campaign to double the number of community wardens
  • Give youngsters more things to do and keep them off the streets
  • Extend alley-gates to all parts of Kingsway and make sure they are kept locked
  • Have a dedicated clean up team to tackle litter, dumping and graffiti

These are practicable, affordable solutions that will make Kingsway a better place to live.

Kingsway needs a Councillor who will work hard to improve our area. A Councillor who will always put YOU first.

I will:

  • Hold surgeries in all parts of the ward every month
  • Keep in touch with a regular newsletter
  • Hold regular walkabouts with local residents to sort out the problems
  • Will take up residents complaints every time – and let you know the result
If you want to see a big change for our area, please vote for me on Thursday 1 May.

But above all, don’t leave it to others to decide the kind of community and quality of life we have in Kingsway. Your vote counts. Whoever you vote for – please use it on 1 May.
