Local Election 2011

Mohammed Sajid

Mohammed Sajid

Liberal Democrat Party
Spotland & Falinge Ward

I would just like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mohammed Sajid. I live on Lisbon Street with my wife and family. I have three children who are all educated locally – two attend Oulder Hill High School and one attends Meanwood Primary School.

I was absolutely delighted when the local Liberal Democrats decided to select me as their candidate for the elections this Thursday. I have worked alongside former Rochdale MP Paul Rowen in the campaign for a full asbestos test on the former Turner Brother’s site. I also recently collected a petition on behalf of local residents calling for a full valuation for the Ding Quarry site – which I presented to Council.

I know that Spotland and Falinge has a huge and diverse community and I think this is something we should be proud of. If elected, I promise to work on behalf of everyone and always put your views first!
