I am a strong campaigner for equal rights for the disabled and believe passionately that disabled people should have an active voice in public affairs.
I am a regular visitor at Rochdale Council Meetings.
I am so pleased to stand for the Liberal Democrats in Wardle and West Littleborough.
My biggest concern is the current state of healthcare in Rochdale. The last Labour Government has let the people of Rochdale down badly with the closure of Birch Hill Hospital and now Rochdale Infirmary has had its A&E and Maternity Unit axed.
It seems such a waste that only a few years ago they spent millions of pounds on extending the hospital. With a new building It seems such a waste of money now. By standing for Council I want to show my commitment to the people of Wardle and West Littleborough.
