Local Election 2014

June West

Labour Party
East Middleton Ward

I am Councillor June West, the Labour Party candidate for Middleton East Ward.

It has been a privilege to serve as your Councillor for the past four years and I hope that you will allow me to continue to represent you by voting for me in the forthcoming local elections on the 22nd May 2014.

As your Councillor I pledge to do all I can to support the interests of East Middleton residents ensuring that we receive equal opportunities and best services necessary to enhance our lives.

I hold regular surgeries, I will listen and be accountable to you, I will work hard to bring improvements to our area.

I have served on numerous committees eventually becoming Vice Chair of Middleton Township from 2011-2013 and as Chair of Middleton Township from 2013-present. I am also a Governor of Middleton Parish School and Elmwood Primary School.

I have lived in Middleton for over 50 years and care very much about our Town. I want to continue to make Middleton a safe and clean place to live. I am now retired so can spend all my time working on your behalf for all Middletonians.

I am asking for your support in this local election, your vote really does matter. Please use your vote to help me defend your front line services from the Tory/Lib Dem coalition cuts (£158m up to now) and continue the hard work to make Middleton a great place to live, work and visit.

Thank you for reading this and please vote JUNE WEST (Labour) on the 22 May 2014.
