Kewal Krishan Kataria

Labour Party
Bamford Ward

It is an honour to be selected as the Labour Party candidate in Bamford Ward where my family and I have lived and served the local community for the last 14 years.

Bamford needs an active, approachable, contactable, committed and dedicated candidate to deal with various issues including improving safety, security and environment in the area.

I hold a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and a Fellowship in Anaesthesia and I have been working as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Chronic Pain management in Pennine Acute Hospitals for the last seventeen years.

I strongly believe that I will be able to make a contribution and use my skills l gained in the NHS in running council business.

The Council needs professionals to who can not only contribute their skills and experience to make a difference but also to meet the future challenges which will need to be faced.

I would do my best to tackle important local issues such as burglaries, road safety and maintenance to ensure everyone feels safe in their own home, especially those who are vulnerable such as the elderly.

I am determined to protect the green belt and feel strongly about improving local services such as public transport to ensure that everybody has easy access to these services.

With your support, I will be able to develop a fair, strong and safe community and deal with issues affecting our community.

I sincerely hope you will be kind enough to give me your vote and support to succeed on the 7 May 2015.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
