Miss Hastings comes to Rochdale
Former Miss Hastings Gemmaine Baughurst happily endured a six hour journey from the south coast to visit Rochdale at the weekend.
Miss Baughurst came to work with the creative team from The Studio in Rochdale, photographer Malcolm Journeaux, make up artist Maggie Haroon and hairdresser Greg Couzens, to update her model portfolio.
Miss Baughurst said: “The Studio creative team are a real pleasure to work with and I hope we get to work together again soon. The images are lovely, I really like them.”
Greg Couzens hairdressing salon at The Walk in Rochdale Town Centre was used as the first set; taking advantage of the beautiful décor inside and the roof at the rear, then it was on to The Studio in Castleton for the second set.
Make up artist Ms Haroon said: “Gemmaine is a very pretty girl with beautiful skin, which helped to make the photos amazing.”
Mr Couzens added: “Gemmaine wanted glamourous ‘big hair’ and it was a pleasure to give her just what she wanted.
“I enjoy being part of a creative team and it is good to know that people from so far afield are prepared to travel to Rochdale.”
