Sun, sea and fashion, on a beautiful island...
Denis Hope, Drake Street purveyors of high quality clothing, provided local photographer Malcolm Journeaux with some of their latest ladies fashions for a photographic assignment in Jersey and local hairdresser Greg Couzens styled and coloured Ms McDowell's hair the day before she left for Jersey.
Clothing was also provided by fashion stylist Ruby Henderson and Yorkshire based companies Cathouse Clothing and Dark Angel.
Resident make up artist at The Studio, Rochdale, Sonara Parker, accompanied Mr Journeaux to Jersey along with model Cassie McDowell.
One of the shoots used Ms Parker's own creation - a green sheer garlanded gown along with a wicker and glass head dress.
Ms McDowell was looking forward to high quality shots for her model portfolio and she wasn’t disappointed, she said: “We had a really superb week in Jersey and have come back with some beautiful shots.”
Mr Journeaux said: “Other than being so sick on the ferry that I will never travel on one again, I really enjoyed the experience. We did a lot of photo shoots in the time we were there, and it was physically exhausting - I need a holiday to recover - but it was worth it when I look at the photos.”
Oliver Hope, from Denis Hope, who provided some of the clothing, said: “We are proud of the clothes we sell because they are of good quality, but the photography done here makes them look sensational.
“I’m amazed at what quality and skill Malcolm has as a photographer.”
