The fitness studio is fully fitted and has the latest technology in cardio/resistance equipment and is air conditioned for your comfort. The studio has a sauna and steam room area as a place to go and relax after a hard workout. The centre has a fully air conditioned aerobics studio.
If you are a member of the fitness suite you will receive discounts on almost all sport related activities taking place at The Sports Arena. You become a member to the whole centre rather than just the fitness suite!

Members that have been with us for a period of time can qualify for our loyalty bonus scheme. Please ask at the arena reception for more details.
The Sports Arena can also be hired for parties, competitions and events at specially reduced rates. Why not book your children’s birthday party with us and let us take the strain of a busy day.
Our conference/teaching rooms have been equipped with a host of teaching materials to help deliver training to students, community groups, schools and local organisations all which can be available at specially reduced rates.
Why not also take advantage of the fantastic 3G all weather facilities here at Hopwood Hall College Middleton, located just off the M62 our Sports Park can cater for all major sporting events.
In addition to our other external areas we also have sand based Kick Pitch that is used by local junior teams and adults wishing to play 5 a side. It can also be used for Hockey, this again is bookable through contacting the Sport Arena and available on a block booking basis as required.
Aromatherapy Massage
As a member you are entitled to a discount for Holistic Therapies.
Holistic Therapy includes Swedish body massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology and much more.
Why not have a workout, massage and relaxing sauna and steam, leaving you raring to go for the week ahead. All massages take place in the privacy of our consultation room and are strictly by appointment only.
7 Point Consultation Health Check
Let us help you to achieve your goals. We will provide you with a comprehensive look into your fitness regime and show you areas you can improve on.
This is an excellent way of monitoring your fitness and usually costs £15.00 as a non member this is totally free to all members, so take advantage.

Physiotherapy
As a member you are entitled to discounts on Physiotherapy. Physiotherapy involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of diseases, disorders, and disabilities using physical means.
Ian Liversage is with us every Monday and Thursday and will be able to deal with any questions you may have.
GP Referral Scheme
Since 2004 we have been proud to be part of a GP referral scheme which helps people with an array of ailments from stress, sports injuries and back problems to more serious complaints that may affect your overall quality of life.
The Scheme is in association with Rochdale metro borough council and is specific in identifying medical complaints that can be addressed via practices that are assigned to the project. Clients are referred via their GP.
A GP referral officer will assign you to one of our instructors and they will take through a specific program, which you are monitored and evaluated throughout. Information is then collated and reports produced.
You can be safe in the knowledge that our staff are trained in this area and all hold up to date first aid certificates. to help you achieve your specific goal.

Location
We are situated at the back of the Middleton Campus, Rochdale Road, Middleton and is available to both curriculum and private members.
To sum up, we offer many different activities to cater for all walks of life from children’s parties to organised special events including badminton, football, health checks, courses and conference facilities. Our fully fitted private members fitness suite overlooks three large grass pitch playing areas and boasts state of the art Oxide technology.
