The ReBuild Project
This is a 4 month training programme in Construction Skills combined with Life Coaching, Mentoring and Personal Development. We meet on 3 days each week, for 5 Hours (15 Hours in total).
We aim to help men and women who have significant barriers in their lives caused by past experiences, such as drug or alcohol addiction, prison, or difficult family situations, but who all want to make a fresh start to rebuild their lives.
We work in partnership with local agencies both for referrals to the project and to help our clients find routes to progress, with the objective to help each one become increasingly employable.
Witness Testimonial
“When I joined The Jericho ReBuild Project in October 2006, I was a broken man. I came from a rocky, shady background with lots of crime and drugs: didn’t have any good thoughts about myself or anyone else.
Working with Jericho has given me a new positive outlook on life; it has been a life changing experience. I now have stability back in my life, along with hope for a much better future.
As well as learning new skills, I am able to meet new people, which is very important when you are changing your lifestyle. If anyone was thinking about joining a Jericho programme, I would say to them ‘What you put in, you’ll get back – you reap what you sow’
My barriers are being well and truly smashed”
Michael, May 2007
