Middleton Musical Society (founded 1772) provides amateur singers of all ages with the opportunity to meet to rehearse and perform choral music in a wide variety of styles, from madrigal to musical, oratorio to operetta.
Rehearsals are held in the convivial atmosphere of the meeting room at St. Stephen's Church, Cheapside, Middleton on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are always welcome in all sections. There are no auditions. It is expected that singers will want to make a valuable contribution to the musical presentation of the choir, as well as find satisfaction in singing with other like-minded musicians.
An annual membership fee is payable in two instalments. Details from the Treasurer.
