Saint Andrew Church

Intro

Welcome to our 'Rochdale online' Website

St Andrew's Church, Dearnley, has been administering to the spiritual needs of the population of Dearnley and Smithy Bridge for over 100 years, the church was consecrated in 1895.

On a Sunday Morning we have a regular congregation of 70 to 90 adults with a small but active Sunday School. Our worship is led by the Clergy together with our organist and the choir.

The church follows the Church of England, Common Worship Liturgy (2000) which includes the use of incense, bells and candles. We are a friendly and approachable congregation and welcome newcomers. We are an inclusive Church, we welcome all who seek God, regardless of race, age, gender, or sexual orientation.

As the Church is not the easiest of places to find, the church is situated on Arm Road, hidden behind the buildings on New Road and reached by a narrow road at the side of the Green Door. Our Address is: Arm Road, Dearnley, Littleborogh, OL15 8NJ
