What we do
The Borough of Rochdale Fund is managed by the Community Foundation of Greater Manchester and aims to support local community groups and individuals throughout the borough.
Organisations or groups that run projects or activities which addresses any or all of the fund’s eight priority themes, below may be eligible to apply for a grant of up to £5,000.
Our eight priority themes are:
- Community Cohesion including issues of Race and Disability
- Culture, Sports and Arts
- Health and Wellbeing
- Lifelong Learning including early years and schools
- Prosperity, Skills and Jobs
- Safety, including Crime and Disorder
- Sustainable Neighbourhoods including the Environment and Housing
- Transport
How to apply
Click the link below and download the file, and then complete the application form. Next, post it to our address as printed on the application form by the deadline date. Applicants will be notified by post between 8 - 10 weeks after the grant application deadline date if your project has been successful or not. Anyone who wants to support the fund can can make a donation. No matter how big or small, your donation will enable local groups to build the spirit and support they need to tackle the big issues on their own doorsteps.
