The furniture department will sell items of furniture and bric-a-brac. It will also offer a delivery service, which will incur a charge.
Emergency supplies of furniture will be given with a small charge to cover costs. This will be done via a referral system. Agencies must be registered with us for this service (to register contact the centre).
We aim to show God's Love in action by serving our community.
This we are doing by offering the following:
- Direct Access Accommodation for homeless men
- A training unit offering IT Skills, essential skills as well as cooking skills
- A Counseling area is available
- A Charity shop department selling affordable second hand furniture and clothes
- A Gymnasium - an affordable way to exercise and offering training courses
We require help to operate these departments. To offer your services and help the community of Rochdale, contact the centre.
Training Through Volunteering
It is a policy of the Furniture and Charity stores to offer volunteers the opportunity to develop. This will be done with relevant courses when available. We will also offer a reference for volunteers.
