Wardle & Smallbridge History Group (WASHG)

About Us

If you are interested in the history of the Wardle and Smallbridge areas then come along to one of our regular friendly meetings where you'll be sure of a welcome.

We meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10am to 12 noon at Wardle Library on Birch Road but please check first as we have the occasional trip out.

Membership is free.

The group has a unique collection of artefacts and records. Some of these items are devoted to the story of the village of Watergrove, now hidden below the waters of the reservoir.

As well as the meetings, why not have a look at our Facebook page where you can join over 4000 others with similar interests.
