Patient Care Team Leader Apprentice

Effectively manage a team of Patient Care Advisors/Administrators, work collaboratively with all areas of the business to deliver an exceptional Healthcare service in line with company policies Identify opportunities to continuously improve your people, processes and systems in order that we consistently deliver world class patient care.

Duties to include:

  • Develop a continuously evolving team improvement plan with a clear strategy the team will use to reach its goal
  • Work towards individual, team and business objectives
  • Identify any training requirements in the team, providing coaching for team members as needed
  • Communicate clear instructions to team members in personal and team communication sessions
  • Liaise with the Operational Planning team on a daily basis to effectively manage the Patient pathway
  • Respond to patterns, trends and issues in KPI statistic to ensure KPI’s are met
  • Review and analyse monthly reports to identify staff and team issues, trends and impact on PRC service
  • Manage absence and time keeping effectively and proactively in line with policy and procedure
  • Complete monthly reports to update on the team's progress
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve process and people
  • Communicate relevant information in a concise manner to internal and external customers
  • Work accurately to agreed InHealth processes and procedures
  • Display the People Manager competencies set out within the InHealth competency framework
  • Spend time in the work to identify development opportunities, ensure quality, providing feedback as & when appropriate
  • Work within CQC and Data Protection Act parameters at all times to ensure any audit requirements are met
  • Hold regular Calibration sessions with your team
  • Diary management
  • Support the weekend on call facility
  • Manage escalations appropriately
  • Manage HR processes with teams
