Trainee Accounts Assistant

My client is currently looking for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their busy Finance team on a contract to permanent basis 

This will be a varied role, covering all aspects of Finance & Accounts and some general Administration tasks - you must be of the attitude to dive in wherever needed! 

My client will look at an Accounts Graduate but you must have some relevant work experience in a Finance / Accounts role 

Daily duties & responsibilities;

  • Assistance across Credit Control - contacting Clients who are in arrears on their accounts 
  • Assist when needed with Purchase Ledger - processing / uploading Invoices 
  • Monthly reconcile and process Credit Card expenses - chasing staff for missing receipts when required 
  • General Admin duties to support the Finance team - scanning, filing and data entry 
  • Ad hoc duties / projects as needed by the team / Manager

After the initial 6 months contract, the role will be reviewed with a view to going permanent
