Financial Controller

Salary: Up to £40,000 plus benefits Per Year

Our Client is currently looking for an experienced candidate to join their successful and growing business as Financial Controller for their North West based site

Reporting into the General Manager and Senior Group level, you will ultimately be responsible for managing the operation of the company's Financial procedures. You will daily oversee a small Finance team and also support the wider business in making decisions and providing guidance across anything Finance related. You will also ensure that the company is adhering to all Financial Legal Compliance - you must be familiar with IFRS and UK GAAP reporting standards

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Production and analysis of Monthly Management Accounts pack including full Board Pack and KPIs
  • Full production of Year End and Half Year End Accounts
  • Providing timely reports / data for the Management team and Group level
  • Prepare Variance reports from Budgets and Forecasts ready for submission to Group
  • Full control, management and review of Cash Flow across the business
  • Forward view using Trend Analysis
  • Monthly Flash reporting as part of Management Accounts pack
  • Be fully involved with and assist with Year End Audit procedures
  • Regular communication / liaison with colleagues in the UK and also across International offices - mainly to compare Data / Financial Status

You must have experience at an FC / Senior Accountant level - and have proven experience of managing Financial Controls within a business

Experience within Manufacturing would be advantageous but not essential
