Administrator - Purchasing Support

Salary: £16,000 - £18,000 Per Year

My client is currently looking to recruit a competent and enthusiastic Administrator to join their busy and demanding Purchasing Team 

You will support the team by covering all Administration duties and you will also be trained up on some aspects of Purchasing / Procurement - eventually you will learn the Purchasing process with a view to stepping into a Junior Purchasing role 

It is a busy and demanding department so you must be on the ball, dynamic and be a quick learner! 

Daily duties and Responsibilities will include; 

  • All round Administration duties to support the Purchasing team 
  • Assist with processing Purchase Orders during busy periods 
  • Check all Purchase Orders for accuracy 
  • Handle any Supplier / Customer queries or escalate to a senior member of the team 
  • Liaise with various departments in the business - Production / Sales etc for any queries

You must have previous Administration experience to be considered for this role - accuracy and attention to detail is a must! 

Working hours - Monday to Friday shifts between 8am - 6pm
