Purchase Ledger Clerk - Part time / School hours

My Client based in Oldham are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a part time basis. This could be between 25 and 30 hours dependent on the successful Candidate

You will be joining a well established team and it will give the successful Candidate a fantastic opportunity to develop their skills and gain experience working on a variety of schemes

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be fully accountable for the Purchase Ledger process, invoices and reconciliations.

Daily duties will include:

  • Mathcing and posting of Purchase invoices
  • Reconcile statements and request copies as necessary
  • Send posted invoices for checking
  • Deal with general invoice queries via phone and email
  • review Purchase Ledger allocating missed transactions
  • Prepare weekly Payment schedule for sign off by FC
  • File invoices approved by the team
  • File reconicled statements
  • Daily use of SAGE

The successful Candidate will have a proven track record with Purchase Ledger, be self disciplined, flexible and have a a proactive nature.
