Hours: 37.5 Per Week
HMR Circle is a social enterprise, and you will be joining a growing team with big ambitions and aspirations at the latest stage of our evolution, growth, and development.
We are currently developing a HMR Circle Engagement Coordinator role for the borough of Rochdale.
During the pandemic health inequalities and social isolation amongst older people as a group and the wider community at large have been brought into sharp focus, in particular amongst those who have had to shield and also from underrepresented groups.
We need a highly flexible, organised do-er, who can help us to support more older people to get connected, work with our partners to develop the engagement and befriending programme and to help raise awareness of the HMR Circle's aims and aspirations.
Reporting to the Director, your role is to act as a point of contact for the HMR Circle Older engagement and befriending programme in the community. You will be responsible for helping to market and promote the project, develop methodologies and systems to give support to older people to implement positive changes and/or signpost to the relevant support service, as well as developing an active volunteer/befriender programme.
You will work with partners to monitor and grow the programme and look for further opportunities to help evolve and develop the service.
