We are looking for experienced Industrial Sewing Machinists for our client based in Bury, who are an industry leading manufacturer with a client base across the UK, Europe and Asia.

You will be required to make various items, as such previous experience is ideal for this role.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4pm

Friday 07:30am - 2pm

Rate of pay - £9.50 to £10 per hour DOE

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpretation of drawings and templates.
• Marking, cutting and sewing heavy fabrics.
• Use of an Industrial Sewing Machine.
• Quality control of finished products.
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties deemed necessary by management.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Recent and relevant industrial sewing machines experience, particularly overlock, single and double needle, flat bed machines
• Knowledge and experience of working with heavy fabrics.
• Able to work from simple drawings and templates.
• Good eye for detail.
• The role is physical due to the heavy duty material.
• Problem solving and identifying faults.
