Hours, Mon –Thur 8:30am – 5pm, Friday 8:30am – 4pm

Salary, up to £22,000pa

We have a rare opportunity for an Internal Sales Coordinator located in the Rochdale area, located just off the main bus route. This opportunity is for an Engineering company within a niche sector and has clients worldwide, supplying and repairing a range of hydraulic components for various industries including but not limited to manufacturing and transport.

As an Internal Sales Coordinator, you are responsible for being the forefront of the company, dealing with inbound and outbound sales calls whilst ensuring all clients/customers receive a high level of customer care at all times. Whilst this position does require you to be forward-thinking and driven as you are required to assist in other areas of the department including the workshop which will require assembly work.

Responsibilities of an Internal Sales Coordinator

  • Dealing with all inbound and outbound calls for sales and general enquiries via telephone and emails
  • Receiving orders and having the knowledge and understanding to deliver quotations
  • Upselling and advising on alternative products when required
  • Processing of all sales orders via SAGE
  • Dealing with customer complaints, whilst investigating all issues and rectifying in a timely and efficient manner
  • Updating customers on all orders, dispatch notifications, etc.
  • Contacting customers, new and existing on sales campaign
  • Assisting within the workshop to assemble products, picking, packing, and carrying out stock takes when required
  • Ensuring all health and safety/quality control processes are adhered to at all times

Skills and experience required

  • Customer Service/Sales experience 3+ years
  • Ability to deal with a busy and varied workload
  • A keen interest in Engineering
  • Experience of using SAGE – Beneficial
