Hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:00am to 6:00pm, shifts are to be confirmed. Total hours per week: 40 hours a week
- Supporting qualified staff with daily routines
- To Learn the skills of a professional nursery nurse
- Demonstrate commitment to achieving your Apprenticeship
- Work closely with your assessor
- Understanding the importance of health and Safety in your role
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and use your initiative when tasks have been given to you
- Promote diversity and equality
- Learn to follow the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Contribute to and complete children's observations
- Complete any mandatory tasks that’s required
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required
- Apprenticeship learning to take place in the workplace
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Once qualified, progression is offered to the correct candidate. This could be full-time employment on progression to the Level 3 Standard
