The theme for the Heywood Charities Fete this year is 'Book Titles'.
The Carnival Parade sets from Sefton Street at 1.00pm near Heywood Train Station, and then along Manchester Street to Queens Park. Once in the park there will be stalls, activities, and entertainment. Profits from the event are given each year in grants to local worthy community organisations.
The event takes place on Sunday 3 September 2017. The Heywood Charities Fete has been running in one form or another since the 1930's.
Entry fee: Entry to the park is £2 for adults, £1 for children, £5 for families and £1 for concessions.
