Details:

An introduction to the co-op's wine retailing and matching wines for the Christmas table.

We are inviting local people to come to the museum on the evening of Friday 7th December to find out more about how the Co-op group choose and market their fair trade wines for the festive season. Samples will be available for guests to trial their tastebuds and find out how much they know about where wines come from and how they can be matched to items on a christmas menu.

Come and find out from the experts how to choose the perfect seasonal tipple...

Ian Rogerson has been involved with the technical side of the wine industry since he first joined the Co-op Group in 1984. He works closely with both makers and buyers to ensure that the wines the Co-op sell under their own label meet their exacting standards and delight their customers.

Entry to the event is free, but donations on the night to help keep our charity events are welcome.

Alcohol will only be served to those judged by staff to be over 18.

Give us a call on 01706 524920 or email us on museum@co-op.ac.uk if you'd like any further information.

Entry fee: Free
