The Curtain Theatre
47 Milkstone Road
Jessica Wiehler directs Amelia Bullmore's three woman play exploring the power of friendship throughout our lives. The Curtain Theatre's youngest female director, the all-woman production is Jessica's debut directing opportunity since leaving university.
It’s 1983 and three 18-year old college students are thrown together in a houseshare. Di’s into sport and other girls. Viv wants to be a fashion high-flyer. Rose is working her way through most of the boys in her faculty.
Amelia Bullmore’s engaging and freewheeling play breezes through two decades and more, demonstrating how separation, careers, marriage, families and loss all affect their friendship.
By arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
