This week we have a talk by club member John Schofield, The Corris Railway.

Rochdale Society of Model & Experimental Engineers (RSMEE), founded in 1932, is one of the oldest societies in the country and is also a founder member of the Northern Association of Model Engineers.

Members come from many different walks of life and are of varying levels of skill and experience - and all are still learning! Their interests include:

  • Road steam engines; 3½", 5" and 7¼" locos and stock
  • Clocks and Automata
  • Tools and Workshop Accessories
  • Preserved Steam Railways
  • Industrial Archaeology

The group host twice-monthly meetings covering a variety of subjects. Meetings are held on Friday evenings throughout the year at Castleton Community Centre, commencing at 7.00pm until 8.45pm.

Please note, some meetings are also held at Springfield Park, Rochdale.
